HIGHEST GRADES
Trey’Dez Green, TE – 83.8
Tamarcus Cooley, S – 80.7
Mansoor Delane, CB – 78.8
Caden Durham, RB – 75.5
Ahmad Breaux, DT – 74.2

LOWEST GRADES
Davhon Keys, LB – 29.9
Bauer Sharp, TE – 41.0
Weston Davis, RT – 44.6
Nic Anderson, WR – 50.4
Zavion Thomas, WR – 53.4
Every single game, Weston Davis is one of the lowest graded players. Can we please bench this dude.

lol made it seem like we have Brock Bowers coming in spring practice

These are always interesting but not sure they fully account for a player's impact. For example, Cooley missed the tackle on the 75yd TD run. Seems like that would wipe out a lot of good plays but he probably only got dinged for a missed tackle.
Overall he played well...glad he in on our side

Scarborough was in love with this dude during fall camp. Literally every practice report he had he was drooling over him.
Maybe we should take most things he says with a grain of salt.
And it's ridiculous how consistent Weston Davis has sucked. Give me Chester or Curne at this point. You have to try someone else there. Continuing to start him at RT is the definition of insanity. At least give someone else a shot, if they suck, it'll likely be a wash, but perhaps, you find someone playing better than him and it would instantly upgrade the line even if they're just slightly better than him.

Both of these guys looked 200x better then Davis when they got playing time at RT

Interesting - 2 WRs and a TE have terrible grades. Kinda makes it easy to understand why Green and Parker had big games.

How did Chris Hilton grade?
Posted on 10/12/25 at 2:22 pm to LSUdude247
Weston Davis is this year's Chester/Mubenga. Same shite every year under BK. Has favorite players that keep finding the field despite players behind them looking better. Examples: Hilton has hurt the offense 3 years straight targeting him and Curne looked better than Davis has all year. Yet, somehow Curne isn't in Davis spot and someone else isn't stealing Hilton's routes. Horrible coaching personnel decisions.

Is there a grade for bad decision making and being slow for QB

They take into account assignments. 2 assignments were missed on this play which led to the run Cooley not making a touchdown saving tackle is not going to knock him on the grade because it was not a blown assignment by him. More of a poor angle.
They are more worried about assignments. Which is why Davis and Keys were knocked so bad. If Davis misses his block and Nuss gets sacked Nuss would not be docked as bad as if he held on to the ball too long or scrambled into a sack.
It’s why it’s a metric to look at but like everything else it has its flaws.

Weston Davis is the lowest player every week

I have ZERO idea why anyone thought a dude who was a QB at SLU then became a TE then went to a situation where he almost solely was a receiver. The fact we keep asking him to block is our fault not his.
Stop putting him on the end line of the scrimmage and ask him to block DEs
Dylan Stewart embarrassed that guy last night at the goalline, and I think they were both so shocked neither moved

Bauer Sharp and Weston Davis have the combined physicality of a kindergartener.

I've been wanting 3 changes for a few weeks now:
Kyle Parker as a starter or first rotation over Nic Anderson. Parker is a better route runner, blocker and receiver. He's just not as tall.
Donovan Green in for Sharp. Green is a better blocker. Let Tre'Dez be the receiving threat. Donovan isn't a bad receiver either.
Curne in for Davis. Even with mistakes, he'd be an upgrade and far more physical.

I'm curious if Davis sucking is part of the reason why Nuss is more timid than last year
