What policies could be put in place to protect folks that don’t want to get shot or forced to inhale 2nd hand weed smoke while attending a football game?

Nothing. They want this state fair atmosphere. It’s nothing but trash that but tickets to one game to post pictures on facebook and instagram now. They could start by deregulating tailgating again and stop charging for spots. They ran people off that had been tailgating at their spots for 30 plus years.

I remember when state fairs were nothing but normal people as far as the eye could see. The only strange folk were the carnies.

When you lower admission standards you become a third world country..
The number of texts I got from long time fans appaled at the pot filled and other filled tailgating atmosphere before the game, and then terrified of the violence and Charger driving Twerking folks rioting, was amazing. It wasnt just LSU fans who were blown away..it was the visiting fans as well....
Glad I stayed away, and I am terrified of the game my 85 year old mother wants me to take her to in November.
I hope these fools running LSU realize that once the people with money quit coming and supporting the school it is all over but the crying...

There was a shooting the night of homecoming in downtown CoMo which is blocks from the university and is where all the bars are.
The president of the university went so far as to call out the mayor and tell her to walk around downtown to see how bad the vagrant problem has become.
The police did some stop and frisk stuff a couple weeks back and found out a lot of people were carrying.
Everything woke turns to shite.

Stop and Frisk would accomplish a good bit especially to groups of individuals wearing non team colors on campus. LSU's administration encourages the culture of Saturdays gameday experience we experience. Never again.
