I'm getting tired of all these youtube ads... Is anyone paying the monthly subscription?

It seems like the ads have been a lot lately.. I'm thinking about biting the bullet and paying monthly. Is anyone else doing it and is it worth it?

I don't get them because I downloaded an ad blocker. I'll look up what to search, but haven't had a YT ad in a year.

Ublock Origin Lite I think is what I downloaded. You have to download it after finding the link online.

Crazy how there are ads breaks in the videos, and then the poster does personal paid ads in the video too. The blocker blocks ad breaks, but can't block posters content having ads.

youtube revanced on my phone has been a life changer.
No ads, dark mode, can play audio without turning the screen on (perfect for podcasts), ability to hide shorts from my feed, sponsorblock that auto-skips in video sponsor reads, getting to actually see dislikes, etc.

Premium is worth it. Also, the cost is covered if you have an Amex platinum card.

I have had YouTube premium for 7 years. It’s the only consistent thing I’ve ever paid for. Half the year I don’t have cable or Netflix but I always have YouTube premium. Every time I decided to cancel I last about 6 hours and see dumb ads plus I turn on 4 hour documentaries at night and can turn off the phone screen and listen to them. Worth every penny.

Just use Brave with uBlock Origin. Never seen an ad, although I use FreeTube most of the time, and there are no ads there either.

It's worth it. Use a VPN to change your location to Peru and get it for $7.

uBlock Origin on my browser. Every blue moon I'll get ads for a day but they are usually gone the next time I boot up my computer.
