BREAKING: Appeals Court Lifts Judge’s Order Blocking Trump From Mobilizing Oregon National Guard Troops
A federal appeals court on Wednesday lifted a judge’s order blocking President Trump from federalizing Oregon National Guard Troops.
On Saturday, Judge Karin Immergut, a Trump appointee, blocked President Trump’s National Guard deployment to Portland.
Judge Immergut issued a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) and blasted President Trump’s decision to deploy troops.
..............
On Sunday, President Trump called up hundreds of California National Guard Troops to Portland to circumvent the judge’s order blocking Oregon National Guard Troop deployment.
Trump also activated up to 400 Texas National Guard troops for deployment to Oregon, Illinois and other states amid violent, anti-ICE protests.
Here we come, PORTLAND!!

Apparently this lifted only the order pertaining to the Oregon guard. The judges latest order which barred the deployment of ANY guard from any state is still in effect so nothing has really changed. Don’t shoot the messenger.

Are we even sure that a bunch of guardsmen from Oregon even have an America first mindset? That state is nearly all liberals. I doubt the Guard from Oregon will follow the oath they have made to protect this country from all enemies like the filth that occupies that state

The big cities are liberal. The rest, not so much.

You serious Clark? Rural Oregon is as hardcore conservative as any southern state. East of the Cascades in the PNW is white supremacist territory.

One of my biggest gripes about Trump. He constantly puts people in positions of authority that bite him in the arse down the road.

Living in the tranny capital of America breeds radical far right Patriots even in Portland

Southern Oregon wants to join Northern Cal and form their own state because they both hate the liberals in big cities so much

It will be interesting to see what happens.

quote:The Ninth Circuit panel did not lift the TRO. Rather, the Ninth Circuit panel administratively stayed the TRO on the federalization of the Oregon National Guard while the Ninth Circuit considers the motion for stay pending appeal.

A federal appeals court on Wednesday lifted a judge’s order blocking President Trump from federalizing Oregon National Guard Troops.
The TRO on the deployment of federalized members of the Oregon National Guard or the National Guard of any other state is still in effect.
As the Ninth Circuit panel stated, "Given its limited nature, an administrative stay 'does not constitute in any way a decision as to the merits of the motion for a stay pending appeal.' " In other words, it's a stay to consider a stay.
