Bought 4 ounces of silver back when I was in college at its highest point like dumbass back in 2011. Was roughly 48 dollars an ounce. I see now silver is about that range today. Is there a strong likelihood silver will continue to climb in the next months/years or should I sell now to make my money back. Waited almost 15 years to finally just make my money back potentially.

So you’re worrying whether your $200 might become $300? Better uses of your time man!

That's actually cheap.tuition to learn the sunk.cost fallacy. Think of if you invested in something else as soon as you realized silver wasnt best investment. Now, apply that lesson. Dont stay in an investment you wpuldnt choose today. Staying put is a choice to deploy your capital where it is.

Do you really need $200 that badly?

The most interesting thing for you to do is just keep it and bump this thread every few years with silver price updates.

thats a good idea. im just gonna keep it. the money isn't the issue. I just haven't seen it this high in forever and wanted to know if it's more likely a short term thing before it drops back down again, or if y'all are hearing a continued upward trend.

also didn't see the gold/silver thread on this board. wouldn't have made a new thread. im hardly ever on here.

What ways are y'all actually disposing of Silver? Local? Apmex? Ebay?

My prediction is your silver will be worth considerably more dollars in 10 years than it is right now. Fiscal dominance and a weak dollar are going to favor precious metals bigly.

Silver is going to continue the rise. Here is a relatively simple video with a geeze opining on it. I agree with him, mostly. 23.5 minutes.

You're complaining about being underwater ~$80 bag holding for 15 years

Keep it, because you will likely rebuy it again at the new ATH this cycle.
