From what I read this is just people hiking between towns and base camp. No one is summiting right now, especially from the Tibet side

hiking the Everest might be a bit different than climbing the Everest

It's actually pretty amazing that Hillary and his Sherpa Tenzing Norgay summitted Everest almost 75 years ago with relatively heavy equipment, no oxygen bottles, and no space age lightweight sub-zero clothing.
Their clothes and jackets, etc... probably weighed close to 20 pounds. Almost unimaginable.

We have trekked in the region before but we did the Anna Purna circuit. It’s a cool adventure for sure.

They can cover up with all the garbage their buddies left up there to keep warm.

Just don't try to climb that one, has the highest death rate.

Could build a poop igloo

I can barely hike Runyon Canyon out here in LA.
I’d be the dead body laying next to all the excrement. Come to think of it, that would apply both here in LA and Mt. Everest.

I was once stranded on Mt Driskill due to a mosquito swarm

Chinese tourists celebrating "Golden Weekend" and an unexpected blizzard showed them who's boss.

Sounds like an easily avoidable problem

This isn't the time of year that climbers ascend to Everests peak. Thats in May

He’s up on the mountain. Too dangerous to recover his body. You can ID him by his green boots.
Rumor is John sabotaged his oxygen tank so he could take his place.
