Yeah, I've been wondering the same thing. Someone posted something not too long ago that basically equated to the same thing the two other posts so far relayed, but nothing explaining that in further detail was given at the time.
I guess it will be a wait and see type of deal.

This is in no way me claiming to have any inside information, but I'll share what I was told.
My child is part of an organization. One of the parents with a kid involved is a US Marshall. He was talking about the arrest, and in his opinion Lindsey will be done at LSU. He said guns were sitting all over the dorm room. He said there is text messages between Lindsey and the people staying in the room, and they used his key card. Made it seem like the argument that he didnt know they were there is out the window.
Now this person is the type to seem to want everybody to know he is a cop. I know for a fact he is a Marshall. No clue if he was as involved as he said he was, or if he just was relaying the story that he was told and making it seem like he was a part of it.

My understanding is that he never claimed he didn't know they were there, but that his defense argued that he was not there, that he didn't realize they were wanted, and that he didn't realize they had guns in his room.
But he is probably done at LSU.

He may be, the question now is, how long does this linger? That is why Holly is at Southern right now. He was still enrolled at LSU until he transferred.

The Marshall guy made it sound like he was very well aware of all of it.
I'll stress though that I don't know how trustworthy his word is. These things have a way of working themselves out though. Maybe he's done, or maybe this disappears. Who the hell knows.

In light of the Lacy fiasco of late, would we not be prudent to give this some time to shake out prior to jumping to conclusions?
