He won’t ever finish with HBO throwing money at him for incomplete stories. I liked Dunk and Egg and will watch the show, but it’s all leading to Summerhall and those books will never be written. The only thing going for them is the kid will be Egg’s actual age during the events of Summerhall due to HBO’s production scheduling.

Pumped for this one. A better story than House of the Dragon if they stay faithful.

Read some article that said they aren't going to do a grand opening credits like GoT and HotD. Just a simple credits. Fans are going to complain about that.

Reading some stuff the writers have said gives me pretty high hopes on this one.

This book is a lot of fun. Should be a bit more light-hearted than GOT or HOTD.

Yeah, it won't have the political intrigue of the other 2 shows, but hopefully it will be a fun show. I'm interested in how they set up the Blackfyre stories for the second season. It seems like they would need to set up a lot of background to make that story as interesting as it could be.

Could be a great show. I hope it has the goofyness of the source material, and they don't try to turn it into a drama like the other two shows.

Never going to happen.
Just use chat gpt to finish the story and then tell yourself you read the books. That's what i did.

Doubtful. They should have come up with a new theme song for HotD. Using the same one is weird. I'd welcome a fresh intro.

It’s ridiculous how they’re going to drag this short story out. Isn’t the first season going to be 6 episodes that are 15 minutes long each?
