Chimes.
Walkons is more successful obviously. But I’d much rather go to chimes than walkons.

Define ‘better’
I’ve only ever been to the Chimes by LSU one time over 20 years ago. I’ve been to Chimes East a couple of times. I don’t find the food that much better than Walk-On’s. It’s probably the same Sysco/Ben E Keith food anyway.
I personally rather go to Walk-On’s because it’s not so much of a commotion to get a table.
I’ve only ever been to the Chimes by LSU one time over 20 years ago. I’ve been to Chimes East a couple of times. I don’t find the food that much better than Walk-On’s. It’s probably the same Sysco/Ben E Keith food anyway.

Today … chimes has changed menus and quality dropped..
Both decent but more of the location and atmosphere you want than differences in food.
