Update on this one. I tried to relocate the plumeria to a new planter that was a little bit larger, and I replaced potting soil with a mix that supposedly has better drainage. The plant does not seem to be taking to it well...

The leaves are dropping and starting to lose their bright green color. I ended up moving it back to the original planter because the new one was too large and the plant was falling over.

Hopefully it is just stressed out and not dead. I've been trying to soak it once every couple of days but haven't been watering everyday since it seems that you're not supposed to.

Let me know if anyone here has comments.

Boat is in shambles

Hit a submerged tree while running the boat last weekend. May be the end of an era with the 2004 chapparal.

That's a big ole plant there! Not exactly what I was expecting when I bought it, but too late to turn back now haha.

Thanks. Does it have any restrictions for use of slug bait and/or pesticide? I’ve noticed some of the leaves have been getting eating a little bit

Plumeria

I just planted a new plumeria at my house. The guy said it was from a clipping off the original plant. Any tips on getting it to flourish? It's been in the new planter for about 4 weeks and it's starting to sprout some new leaves.

Downtown Drinking Spots

This one if for the folks who work/play downtown. What's y'alls favorite bar room for after work brews? I'm partial to Squeaky Pete's currently. They've got a great draft beer selection and a serviceable food menu if you need something to eat. TV's properly spaced out and they generally cover the sporting events that you would want to watch. Pool table is in good condition and dart board machine as backup if needed.

Grass Seed Installation

I'm trying to get some dead spots in my backyard to start growing grass again. I bought some Scotts Turf Builder Rapid Grass Sun & Shade Mix and put the seed/fertilizer down.

Is this seed going to catch if the dirt I put it on is compacted really well? It's been a dead spot for a while and it's extremely hard to rake by hand with a metal rake. I was only able to disturb about one inch thick across the dead area, but any deeper than that I would probably need to get a machine to have it tilled. I think the previous homeowner had something laying on top of this area.

Been watering twice a day. Seems like the seed is partially buried across the area, but not by much.
We've had a big group of summer interns that have one week left. One of them has taken more shits at the office than he has done anything useful. What are y'alls wild intern stories?

Boat trailer title

Posted by b1ll on 8/5/21 at 10:30 am
Posted in OT lounge and was told to post this here as well.

Purchased boat in Orange beach where they don't require boat owners to have titled trailers. Getting the boat title was no problem, and i have the bill of sale for boat/trailer combo. Trying to get the trailer titled in my name in Louisiana. Went to the DMV and they said I needed a previous trailer title, but as far as i know i will not be able to get one. Anyone dealt with this issue before?

Side note: the previous owner is non-responsive so i won't be able to get help there.
