At home and in pre-school/kindergarten, we had a scheduled nap time right after snack time. Man, I hated nap time as a kid. I fought it and rarely slept. But now I realize how great that was!

I think we need to bring that into adulthood and the workplace. I’d love an afternoon nap!

If I napped I wouldn’t fall asleep until 2-3 am.

I do! Our building has a room for nursing mothers on every floor; would it be wrong to take naps in there when nobody's using it?

one of the biggest lapses in judgement that adults had at one point in time was no nap time and no official summer vacation time

Nap nearly every afternoon.

I have weird schedule though.

Wake up at 4 am (can't sleep ) , make coffee, shower, core workout.

Start work from home at 6 am - get off at 2 pm.

Walk 21/2 miles then nap time

It is an age thing

In youth you nap when told to

In middle age you never nap

In early old age you nap now and again

In old age, the nap controls you.

Every day for me. Sometimes in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon but headphones on, 20:00 alarm set and I'm good to go.

Italians take 2-4 hour lunch breaks, but they stay open until about 9 and have dinner at 10. My landlords in Sicily used to invite me up to dinner at 10 when I had to leave for the base at 7 am.

when I was between jobs about 20 yrs ago, best nap time was around 4 pm.
usually a heavy dose of White Sox baseball would do the trick.
