Has anyone been to the Masters and have a recommendation on where we should eat dinner the night before? I assume reservations will be a bitch so I want to set a reminder for as early as they start to take them. I have done some research on a few nice looking places but figured I would also check with TD in case there are any hidden gems. Thanks

The Augusta Hooters closed for good this summer. That’s all I got.

Rae's Coastal Cafe is where we go. Quiet and away from the craziness of Washington Rd or downtown.

My college age daughter and I spent the night in Augusta a couple of years ago on our way to Charleston. She's into all the cool restaurants and eateries, so I let her pick where we eat, and we went to The Boll Weevil Café and Sweetery downtown by the river. Nice little casual place, less of a high-end spot (menu is more sandwiches and a few plate meals) but really good food.

We've had some good times getting to T Bonz early and getting at table in the bar area. Dress nice, wear an expensive watch or something and you'll have some tour bunnies come mess with you. Reihnarts is an oyster bar and fun to hang out at. Get a table outside..

Supposedly "wife saver" restaurant used to make the pimento cheese sandwiches for the course at one time. They're good. COuple different locations with varying menu so plan ahead a bit.

Had a friend that was stationed at Ft. Gordon. When we went to visit we always made sure to go to go eat hibachi at Miyabi off 520 and Wrightsboro Rd because that's where the local gypsy community always went to celebrate birthdays. It was great people watching.

This is a good list. I'll add Craft and Vine. Manuel's is pretty good right across the river in North Augusta. Pineapple Ink Tavern is a good brunch option
Also the restaurants/bars at the Partridge Inn and the Crowne Plaza in North Augusta
