I know I’ll get a load of crap from some, but could care less.

I’m convinced that Saturday will be the start of a special run for the Tigers. It’s no big news that our defense is outstanding and should continue to improve throughout the season, but I fully expect for the high powered offense that many expected will show up early in Oxford and will expose the Ole Miss defense as a shell of last year.

I believe that the offensive line will finally have the kinks worked and with improved run blocking and consistent protection for Nuss who will finally be healthy enough to sling it around the yard and make excellent use of the deep threats from multiple receivers. Finally, I’m seeing Harlem Berry having a coming out party, both catching passes out of the backfield and some pure runs.

I honestly think this will be a double digit win, that builds confidence for the team to use as a launching pad for the rest of the year, and where the talking heads start acknowledging that BK wasn’t joking with his keeping receipts comment at the end of last season was more than just hyperbole…

Final Score:

LSU 31. Ole Miss 17

GEAUX TIGERS!!!

I think there's real potential for this outcome and I'm optimistic. We're better than 2024 and they're worse. Throw in Kiffin's tendency to do stupid things and we could be on the right end of a blowout.

Not an overconfident guy but I can pretty easily see a double digit win.

I agree. There's a reason Kirk Herbstreet has LSU ranked # 1.

In spite of the magic of Oxford? Tigers haven't won there since 2019, and even that game was shaky

It seems to me that a lot of people think LSU's offense is what they've seen up to this point (not very good). But a lot of us are hoping that what we saw last weekend is an indication that Nuss has healed up and we are going to return to form and at least look like last year. That plus defense could easily prove you right.

So other than your BELIEF, what has lead you to this conclusion? Why now? Provide evidence to support your theory.

I know a lot of fans don't like Moscona, but he is incredibly confident that LSU wins and wins easily.

Could happen. But they will still lose a few along the way so we will need a few more breakout games.

Yes.

LSU hasn’t had a program this solid since 2019.

You think the offensive line will finally figure it out why?? Just cause? They couldn’t push south eastern and tech around. This game will be close because of that

Yep, haven’t won there all two times we’ve played there since 2019, what a staggering stat!

I have no idea what will happen Saturday, but remain concerned about the run blocking.
