I bet their schools were still open. They don't have the Weather Channel telling them that they are all going to die.

And it looks like most all those videos were filmed by people at work. No off days for a hurricane in China!

There are roughly 4800 adjectives in the English language.
Americans can apparently only use (2) of them (crazy and insane).

Some of their power lines may run underground.

People were siting for the train in the beginning of the video. Probably trying to get to work.

Amazing how similar typhoons are to hurricanes.

In 1985 I spent 5 weeks on a job in Taiwan. The company put us up in the Howard Plaza hotel in Taipei, which was very luxurious back then. Probably still is.
Anyway, a typhoon blew through. Only lasted one day, and obviously not as severe as Ragasa. Work was canceled for that day.
I remember looking out my hotel window and seeing people waiting for the morning bus, just standing there on the sidewalk taking a beating from the wind and rain.

lol at the 100mph wind taking that dudes briefcase while he hangs on for dear life, still outside in a typhoon WAITING FOR THE TRAIN. The trains are still running. People are still going to work.
