What are your favorite LSU/Ole Miss memories?

I’ll start by saying that I have always disliked Ole Miss. Even when they weren’t that good I found their fans unbearable. The runt saying is absolutely accurate.
I have two favorite Ole Miss games.
#1 2003 - My first ever trip to Oxford and it was amazing. They were so confident going into that game. To see Eli’s last home game end by falling down was priceless.
#2 2011 - An Absolute beat down for the ages. LSU at a high and Ole Miss at rock bottom. Les Miles kneeling the ball inside the 5 despite there being too much time left on the clock. That’s got to be the ultimate humiliation as a competitor. It’s like being patted on the head.

Uhh...well I wouldn't trust that Les actually knew how much time was left in the 4th quarter of any game, especially with us in possession.

Chad Lavalais knocking Eli on his butt costing him the heisman.

Bert Jones to Brad Davis TD resulting in the best selling “One second blues” and set your clocks back 4 seconds.

when I was like seven or eight back in the early nineties, LSU beat Ole Miss in Tiger stadium. We had season tickets and I went with my dad, my best friend (still), and his dad (RIP).
After the tigers won and my friend and I were screaming the whole game, we went back down the ramps and I so clearly remember how cold and dark it was going down and how absolutely thunderous the noise was "GO TO HELL OLE MISS GO TO HELL" .
My friend and I were so young we thought it was the most amazing thing ever, and were yelling it as loud as we could.
We talk about it every year and we both remember that very fondly.
Looked it up , it must have been October 30, 1993, LSU 19 Ole Miss 17
oh yeah and Eli falling down lol

Only bet I’ve ever made on LSU. Laid $2K on the tigers before OM QB was ruled out. Mett mercy knelling was glorious.

Probably my favorite also. You are right they were so cocky and crazy confident. But the best part was at the end when Eli fell down they sat stunned into silence. They didn't move to leave the stadium.

I really enjoyed going to the games in Jackson.
How times have changed.

2022 was a lot of fun
Down 17-3 or 20-3 early second, can’t remember
Then Jayden took off and we scored every time after that
Freshman Perkins wrecking their oline every play
Just a wild day to be down so much early then win by 21+

Doubleheaders in Jackson. LSU Ole Miss in the afternoon and Bama State at night

1972 - The night when Bert Jones hit Brad Davis in the end zone with one second left on the clock and Rusty Jackson kicked the PAT to give LSU a 17-16 win.

2014. Stadium and campus was electric that day. Ole Piss fans were cocky.

2006, 2010, 2012, and 2014 were all exciting, and typical of the Les era. We had no business winning some of those.

Last year's game. I brought a friend who hadn't been to a football game in over 50 years.

We were supposed to waste time and slowly inch the ball down the field until time ran out. Mett ran a bootleg for a 50-yard touchdown. Les was pissed off and called timeout so the officials could review.
It ended up first and goal after the review so we did four kneeldowns and turned it over.

B, the '72 game I too won't forget. We were leaving South stadium on the southeast landing...thought the game was over, when someone told us we still had one more play. Was looking down on the corner of the end zone right in front of us.
As a freshman in '63, we still talk about the Ole Miss riots & panty raids...but that is another story.

Sammy Martin’s absolutely insane run in Jackson in 1985?
