What bad juju has fallen upon Houston professional sports?

Astros have totally caught the injury bug and collapsed, appearing to close the window.
Houston Texans are 0-3, and somehow Stroud is starting to look worse than rookie year Bryce Young.
The Rockets, Houston's only hope, poised to compete for a title after adding Durant to the young #2 seed, just lost Fred Van Vleet for the season in their position with the least amount of depth.
It's one thing to suck. It's another to completely whiff with preseason title hopes.

You forgot the worst one of all, the Houston Sabercats closing shop.

Bad juju? The Astros have had great luck for about a decade. One of the most dominant teams during a very long stretch. They were healthy at the right times, had clutch play from stars, and every minor league call-up seemed to fulfill even the smallest roles. To me, that just doesn’t happen. It’s not just luck, but great management top to bottom.
I just think Espada ain’t it, not for this team.

The Houston sports curse is real, Stros have just played with fire for 10 years.
Will Anderson will probably blow out his knee in the first win.
Durant will suffocate in the champagne room at Treasures

Kevin Foote must be in an insane asylum by now over the Astros recent misfortune.

The Rockets just won 52 games and were the 2 seed in the West. This wasn't even 6 months ago.
Get that bad juju bullshite out of here and come try being a fan of the New Orleans teams.

Sounds about par for the course for most of my lifetime minus mid 90s where rockets turned choke city to clutch city for a couple years. But pretty much been choke city since
