For me

1. NFL - meaningful regular season, great post-season, great parity, trending away from the politics that turned a lot of people off. Great product right now.

2. NCAA men's basketball - far and away the best postseason of any sport. Lots of parity and great games throughout the year. The fact that it has the worst reffing of any sport/league keeps it from being #1

3. College football - Biggest decline in quality over the past 5 years or so. NIL and the transfer portal hurt football more than basketball to me. Traditional bowl season has been killed. Traditional conference alignments continue to fade away. I could go on. It's still football at least.

4. College baseball - To be fair I'd probably be less interested if the hogs weren't consistently relevant. I really enjoy the CWS either way though.

5. NBA - I don't love the product, especially not the regular season, but I like following the players I became fans of while they were on college teams - Ja, Steph, a handful of former hogs.

All the rest are only mild interests to me - I'll watch the world series, I'll watch the world cup every 4 years, but not much else.

IMO, college basketball is the hardest product to watch vs the professional version, the skills disparity is dreadful.

CFB - Vols are good
NFL - would be top but Panthers are atrocious
MLB - top dog during the spring and summer when there’s no football, even though the Braves are arse this year
NCAAB

Don’t follow the NBA anymore because it’s a joke

Disagree. At least at the collegiate level, defense is played and effort is showed. The NBA is a bunch of primadonnas jogging and shooting 3’s.

1 CFB. This has really fallen kf with NIL and portal but still #1. I can say I have watched less on Saturdays this year. Really only at night after I do other stuff during the day.

The rest
C Baseball
C Basketball
MLB
NFL. Watch less die to what I perceive as basis for certain plahers/teams.
Golf line to watch but dont play anymore
NHL love the playoffs

1. CFB- Has lost some shine but I still look forward to football Saturdays the most.
2. NFL- King of Pro Sports
3. College Baseball- Great product that I realize no one outside the South cares about.
4. NBA- Love the playoffs.
5. MLB- I'm a baseball guy but the MLB makes it so damn hard to just watch a game on TV.

No real interest in anything else except the first weekend of March Madness.

Using the 1-10 scale

NFL- 3; maybe a 5 if Saints are competitive
MLB- 1; use to love it but faded away, will watch few games of world series
NBA- 2; I'll watch playoffs. Would be higher if Pelicans weren't a joke
NHL- 2; Same with NBA, playoffs only
NCAAMB- 7; higher when LSU is competing
NCAA football- 10; my top sport and its not close
NCAA baseball- 8; with ESPN and being able to watch every game is awesome.

With the 1 and done era, the fundamentals in CBB are atrocious at least in the nba they are good at shooting 3s. Also watch the rockets, they play amazing defense.

Thing about this thread is a lot of people like their team in a sport but don't necessarily give a shite about the others

As far as teams go:

Chalmette- we're on the cusp of being statewide competitive soon in football and baseball is entertaining enough
Pelicans- we just need Zion healthy and the rest will fall into place (also watch whatever team Mitchell Robinson from Chalmette is on, Knicks are trying to win the chip this year)
Saints- will never drop too far on my list but this year might be hard to watch
USA soccer- on the fringes of world competitiveness but it's been frustrating to watch recently
LSU baseball- love following along on the rant, the standard by which all college baseball is measured
LSU football- very entertaining, nationally competitive but don't have as much connection to it as other teams
Tulane football- represents New Orleans and is on the fringe of national competitiveness for now
Cubs- ranked higher when I was a kid and finally got their chip, we just don't have MLB here to root for someone else
Wolverhampton Wanderers- at least still Premier for now but maybe not much longer, watch because we don't have real soccer in NOLA

For leagues-

NFL
NBA
College FB
LHSAA
College baseball
EPL
Olympics
