Lunch/supper consist of chicken or deer meat usually but I’m wanting to find something I can snack on in between meals. Currently been snacking on Nature Valley peanut or almond bars covered in peanut butter or Nature Valley peanut butter biscuit sandwich thingys. Used to get Cliff bars but not sure why wife stopped buying them.
Both seemed to be of high sugar content so looking for a better snack idea.

I work in construction so don’t really have the convenience of warming items up to eat.

Meal prep some lean beef burritos. They make portable food warmers you can use to heat them up too.

Meat sticks, apples, and pistachios are my go to in a pinch.

Beef jerky from Bourgeois's around Houma area is fantastic but I’d have to sell something to afford it every week! haha

I’ll see bout getting deer sticks made next season.

Thanks for the replies!

Why not just give up the “snack” mentality?

When I'm behaving, I just eat a carrot. Maybe some hummus on there.

If you can bring a cooler, hummus and veggies are great. Cottage cheese also great with veggies or some kind of cracker/chip. Pork rinds are a bit controversial, but aren't a bad cracker/chip alternative. Greek yogurt would also be possible with a cooler.

Cause I get hungry. I really don’t have a lunch break, just kinda snack all day including the deer or chicken I prepare.

If I ate a regular meal I’d have to take a nap and boss man would frown on that.

Gotta define what healthy means to you. Those nature valley pb sandwiches are healthy to someone and trash to someone else. Are you trying to get more protein, lose weight, or just want something that will make you not feel hungry throughout the day?

Beef jerky
Pork skins (in moderation)

Do you have a dehydrator? I use a jerky cannon (basically a big caulk gun) and buy ground meat from Sam's to make my beef sticks.

Why not get away from the processed carb snacks that are loaded with all kinds of not great additives and processed sugars?

Nature is full of pretty good snacks that are good for you:

Apples
Bananas
Oranges
Raisins
Dried fruit (without added sugars!)

If you can keep things cool:

Greek yogurt
Cottage cheese

I'll add more as I think about it. But these are things I eat throughout the day that are healthy. I'll throw in a protein shake or protein bar also if I am not hitting my protein marks.

If you can’t get some jerky made I would get a couple boxes of pure protein bars and give them a shot. They don’t taste good enough to eat a ton of them, but they will help you skip the honey bun. Nuts aren’t bad either but easy to overdo it if you’re trying to lose weight.

I travel a ton and try to find stuff I can travel with. I prefer Archer beef sticks, Honey Stinger waffles, shelled pistachios, travel packs of mixed nuts, yogurt covered berries. If I’m home, I always have mini perfect bars (I’m addicted to the dark chocolate/peanut butter) and string cheese.

You should probably ask before you go to therapy on why your marriage is ending.
