I’m actually pretty excited to see this new group on the floor. I have very low expectations of having a “successful” season record wise, but I think this group will be very entertaining.

Perhaps inject some much needed excitement around this franchise. Give the fan base some juice and optimism for the future!

I’m fully drinking the kool aid. Watched his press conference and he just looks like a grown arse man. No fat on his face. MVP season loading…

+15000 to win MVP. Maybe it is unlikely but $6.50 to win $1000? I will gladly donate to the cause.

Zion finally shows up in shape. I expect him to play 20 games before demanding a trade to the Lakers

I'm doing my best not to be

They are saying all the right things. Everyone looks good

But we do this every year and Willie is still the HC

I will wait and see

For sure, love NBA hoops. I like the moves Dumars made. Playing in the more competitive conference and toughest division is going to test the Pels. Excited to see team's approach to defense (defense first? or just outscore the opponent). The acquired players Poole and Bey are not stalwarts on that side of the ball but Looney is rugged if nothing else. Want to see who the ball gravitates to finish games, obviously Husky but Poole, TM3, and Dejounte will want to make their impacts. Looking forward to the 1st. and 2nd. year player development, it bodes well if Queen can step up as a post scorer, and Fears can get to the rim consistently at the NBA level. For sure want to see the return of "NotOn" Herb and Missi's development as a screener and shot blocker. And oh yeah, where is Karlo?

Both Karlo and Peavy could be solid rotational players this year. Peavy looked solid on offense and might be one of our best defenders. Karlo could be our Niko/ Nico.

Even if Fears struggles early we will be ok with PG depth. The real goal is for Karlo/ Queen/ Missi to make Looney expendable by the end of the season. That would be a great success.

Worst Front office in NBA. So tell me how this will be better? Did we get a new medical staff?

I think Karlo is slept on too, he's the best 3 point shooter of the bigs. Looney will be key for setting picks, he gives you something that we haven't seen consistently from Yves, although he shows promise. Queen shows a lot of promise as a high post pivot that can shoot, drive, and pass but don't know how he's going to hold up defensively. Karlo certainly has the athleticism to be a plus defend but he's kind of a tweener, not stout enough to anchor a defense or quick enough for perimeter defense.

It makes more sense to run Karlo at PF and Queen at C, especially for matchup purposes. Those 2 guys along with Missi's progress are really the biggest unknowns.

Rockets, Magic, Grizzlies, and Spurs right out the gate. We’ll be lucky to get 1 of those….staring 0-4 in the face before the season starts.

Yeah, we saw last season that PF was his best position.
