Homan Bribe Back In The News

The Tom Homan bribery investigation has recently gained renewed public attention following extensive coverage by MSNBC and The New York Times. These outlets have detailed a 2024 undercover FBI operation in which Mr. Homan is alleged to have accepted a $50,000 cash payment from agents acting as government contractors. The transaction was reportedly documented through both video and audio recordings and occurred prior to Mr. Homan's official return to the Trump administration.
Context:
Homan, President Trump’s border czar, was investigated for federal bribery after an undercover FBI operation in 2024. Agents allegedly gave him $50,000 to secure border contracts should Trump be reelected; the exchange was recorded. The Department of Justice closed the case, citing insufficient evidence of criminal intent or a quid pro quo, since Homan wasn't in office at the time. Homan denied wrongdoing, and Trump officials called the investigation politically motivated.
The first order of business is to verify if such a video exists. It may exist, but its contents may be absolute BS. It would be the left to claim "we have video" to substantiate a BS claim. But, if he took a $50k bribe and they have it on video, someone needs to explain some stuff. Don't just blow if off and think it won't be another distraction.

No. It hasn't.
This presumes there was public attention to renew. There wasn't.
Some mole in DOJ/FBI decided the public "needed" to know about this.

probably just me, but look how they lead with "trump's boarder czar", which he is, but then states the investigation in 2024. they're trying to lead you to their wishful outcome.

I know nothing about Homan other than what I’ve seen in interviews with him.
I know the Biden FBI was weaponized against US citizens who weren’t on board with the left.
So I trust Homan more than the Biden FBI.
And it’s Homan, not Holman.

He was a private businessman, a consultant who worked in the border security world.
You honestly think if he did anything even remotely illegal the Biden DOJ wouldn’t have charged him? The Administration was absolutely desperate to find anything possible to slow Trump down, as much as Trump talked about the border this would’ve been red meat for the DOJ.
If it was so egregious why did it take a year to leak out?

This is what I have heard
1. The corrupt Biden FBI ran a sting operation on Holman.
2. Holman was not arrested and is not in jail.
Conclusion. Holman did nothing wrong.

I have no idea whether or not Homan committed a crime. It would seem very much out of character AND the Biden DOJ was definitely weaponized against Trump’s team AND the intitial reporting was at a weird time AND the initial reporting came from bogus MSDNC AND if Homan had committed a crime, you would have expected the Biden DOJ to have charged him...or at least leaked an incriminating tape.
