Never been a really big fan, and I'm honestly not sure why.

What does the board think of him?

He was awesome as Ghost Dog: Way of the Samurai and he was great in Species. I just think he's gone off the deep end with Scientology which is a shame, but other than that, he's always really good in every movie he's in.

His guest starring role on The Shield is fantastic as well. The storyline went over a couple of seasons.

Think he's a solid actor.

He apparently directed Hope Floats and that's so damn random.

He was also great in The Color of Money as a guy who hustled the ultimate pool hustler played by Paul Newman.

Him, Glenn Close, and Anthony Anderson helped take the show over the top.

Ghost Dog and The Last King of Scotland are fantastic roles of his and already mentioned. He was excellent in The Crying Game too interacting w/ Stephen Rea.

I does characters well. Meaning he's not just the same dude in every movie. And he has a reputation for working hard, committed and being great on set which would explain him getting steady work for 4 decades.

I think he does some really great work (shield, Panic Room, Last King of Scottland, the Butler, Southpaw) and then sometimes he's just a random guy in a movie (Havoc, Vantage Point, Street Kings, Etc.)

i'm never like "hell yeah, a new Forest Whitaker movie," but he never makes anything worse.

Ironically, he directed Hope Floats and First Daughter (katie holmes movie.)

I think he is a pretty good actor.
Plays Bumpy Johnson in the Godfather of Harlem series.
Vincent Donofrio also is in it

Was good in the Color Of Money with the little part he had sharing the screen and held his own with one of the all time greats Paul Newman.
