Large number of arrests follow riot at Marshall, TX city park

“This incident is part of an ongoing pattern of gatherings that turned violent over the past few months that have created unsafe conditions in public areas and disrupted traffic. On August 31, Marshall Police officers responded to a disturbance at City Park, where a large crowd had gathered in the parking lot, causing noise and traffic complaint,” says MPD.
