Any general info on what area to sit in to get true the NY Yankee fan experience? The trashy rowdy types.

Also any bars around there for some local flavor and aren’t tourist traps?

Ask Jerry "The King". He is our resident Yankee expert on this site. I am sure he will be happy to give you non-partisan advice with extra info on Dongs.

Bleacher Creatures.

Go sit in the outfield. That's where the real fans are.

New Yankee Stadium also has all kinds of muesuems and fan shops. Just be ready to pay $25 for a beer.

The only way to do that is wear an Altuve jersey to a game.

Sit in sec 104 or 105 by the Judges Chambers. Plenty of unbuttoned Jeter jerseys around there

Before the game
Bleacher Bar
Dugout
Stan's
Billy's

If you want to sit with Bleacher Creatures then section 203.

When I go in section 105/106 only for home run balls.

You can visit Monument Park an hour before the game and 30 minutes after (anytime during) with a ticket.

I've never been searched but I've walked through the metal detector thing after taking everything out of my pocket. So if you do make sure it is 100% plastic and well hidden.

Before a game you can buy a "game used balls" so you will pay $50 and after the 5th inning you head back and it is a ball that was in play during the first 5 innings. They put a QR code and MLB hologram for authentication purposes so you know the inning and what the ball was.

I have a Judge double and a Wells strikeout ball currently

We usually hit Billy’s before then head up a a street for after the game. Can’t remember the couple of places we go because I’m usually pretty drunk at that point.
