The SEC will reveal Tuesday *all* opponents for every team in its new 9-game schedule for football in 2026, sources tell
@CBSSports
. The 3 "permanent" rivals will be referred to as "annual opponents," which will be reviewed every 4 years.

My permanent three prediction - LSU gets: Florida, A&M, and Mississippi.

Are you talking about LSU's 3 "permanent" opponents? Because those have already been announced. LSU has: Arkansas, Ole Miss, Alabama.
My guess for the 9
Arkansas
Ole Miss
Alabama
Auburn
Kentucky
Texas
Miss. St.
Missouri
Oklahoma
EDT: I stand corrected. I thought I recall seeing a list of the permanent opponents are few weeks ago.

I kinda like this. Traditional rivals are kept but the other "annual opponents" can get swapped so that you don't get 3 of the top 5 teams in the league for the rest of forever if the dynamics of "top half" and "bottom half" change.

Let's see who bama gets. Will the SEC home office continue to give bama EVERY advantage possible?

I wonder how airtight the SEC is. Will it leak before Tuesday?

Where did you see this?

Math wise. We have to have Oklahoma. When I get off work I’ll make a post explaining.

Did the SEC ever say if the rotating teams would be home and away for two years then home and away with the other 6 teams for two years or if the two groups of 6 teams would be alternating each year so that you would play same teams in years 1 and 3 and years 2 and 4 for the other teams?

This is optimal. Personally I can't visualize Florida NOT being a permanent rival, given not only the fact we've played them all but three seasons since 1953, but also the highly competitive nature of the games, with only a few exceptions. Heck, I believe the two teams are tied in number of games won/lost (not considering the "vacated" Miles wins).

Ole Miss, Alabama, and Florida should be LSU’s three. We shall see.

cant wait to see bama's opponents changing now that UT is stronger.
i'd love for LSU's to be aub\bama\UF, just because those games were usually brutally tough games. but i feel like we're getting UF\ags\ole miss.

We get A&M, Ole Miss, MSU
Bama gets Auburn, UT, Vandy
UT gets Bama, UF, Vandy
UGA gets UF, Auburn, Kentucky
Vandy gets Bama, UT, Kentucky
Too much work to think about the rest

It will be 3 of Ole Miss, Bama, A&M, & OU. Florida probably goes to every 2 years.
