You loved witnessing excellence.

It’s why you loved sports so much. You loved watching the best of the best perform at the level of greatness God intended for them.

When we first started dating, we went to the basketball court to shoot around. I loved seeing you in that element because time was irrelevant. It was just us, the sound of sneakers squeaking and jump shots. We bonded over how Jordan was the GOAT and you told me about your basketball days in high school and I told you about my basketball days in college. Just two athletes escaping the demands of the world for a minute.

I remember seeing on your wrist a red bracelet. You never took it off, it said “work harder, be better.” And everyday you did just that. Years later, one day after an event on campus a student asked you about your bracelet, and you gave it to them. I have no idea who that student was or where they are today, but I have no doubt they’re working harder and being better, because you set the tone.

This is one of the last photos taken of you before you were murdered. I look at it and can’t help but see excellence. You’re in your element. You’re in athlete mode. Training for this exact moment, mind, body, and soul. To me, this is your “Jordan” photo. Permanently etched in time, held in my heart, as I admire your greatness. Forever.

I pray you’ve had the most amazing week in Heaven @charliekirk1776 I love you.

Heartbreaking to see two people who clearly loved each other deeply ripped apart from each other, especially so young.

What a poignant glimpse into happiness that we all search for.. the moments when time is irrelevant offer the happiest times..

He stood out among a lot of people in that space. He was the best of them and us in many ways. I have literally never been this affected by the death of a person I never met in real life, but I think that is because we did know him fully.

From the standpoint of a wife and two young children left behind yes it is.

But it is also beautiful.

Erika clearly adored her husband. She’s so eloquent in describing that love and adoration.

50th upvote.

Erika Kirk is proving to be as much of a superstar as her husband was. May God bless her and her family.

PS - I wouldn't have guessed that she played college basketball, though.

Your are exactly right and Millions feel the very same way you do. His sacrifice is the spark that lit the fire.

Vile progressives have hid in the shadows and tried their best to convince everyone that America is racist and stolen land and all the other nonsense they scream like "trans women ARE women". That bullshite is about to hopefully be squashed for good. We let them carry on and get to this point, it's time make them irrelevant again. We can't co-exist because they choose not to, not us.
