Reading between the lines on why Nuss is playing this weekend

Probably completely off base but I think CBK is insistent on playing Nuss this weekend because he’s terrified of a qb controversy. If MVB starts and carves up SELU with his legs and puts up decent passing stats, he’ll be second guessed by fans and players alike. Granted, I’m a Nuss fan and believe his upside is greater than MVB. I think CBK is trying to protect his players from scrutiny and controversy and I can understand that.

In no possible way would anyone think of that. Everyone knows Nuss is the leader of the offense, THE one and only qb to make a natty possible this year. Particularly the players themselves.

Way over-analyzing. He’s starting Nuss because he’s our starting QB, we need to find an offensive rhythm against live competition, and whatever injury he has/had is pretty much over and isn’t a “sit out” injury to begin with.

I believe it’s more CBK wanting the offense to work to get better with the starting QB before Ole Miss.

The disease of conspiracy theories in this country is out of control.

You would hope not, but posters on this board have proven time and again to have room temperature IQs, and football IQs half of that!

I said that he needed to play and find a rhythm the other day and got heavily downvoted.

Instead of a conspiracy going on maybe MVB just isn’t good enough.

Simplest answer is usually true, trust my man Occam and his Razor

Agreed. I think it's also a symptom of our mainstream media being completely frickin' useless.

You were right then. It's right now.

Play him till halftime (unless your'e up like 50), put some stupid shite on film for Ole Miss. Work on a few things you want plan to use for South Carolina and Bama, find some rhythm and get him out.

I think once we get up by 20, MVB will come in and then Hurley will get a series at the end.

I’m 54 with a bad back and I could carve up SELU with LSU’s weapons.

This is worse than the “put Johnson in and because he’s fast and run the RPO ( )” guy.

I think it’s because MVB is not good.
