Realistically, who can we trade this year for prospects and/or draft capital?

Cam Jordan maybe? Olave? Payton willing to pay up to reunite with his mecca Taysom?

Not sure how contracts work that well as far as being trade friendly. Is there anyone in the NFL willing to take our scraps at the deadline?

No one wants our bums. It will take at least 3-4 years of tanking to rebuild this roster from the ground up. Just buckle up

Why the hell do yall want trade known assests for so many draft picks?! Have yall seen this front office's draft classes for the last 5+ years?! You think the team sucks now, try looking after we trade the handful of contributors we have with any sort of value and they replace them with a set of bums from the draft. Good lord

Blind squirrels and shite

Also, one part you’re overlooking when discussions of trading player come up is if you trade them, you can’t overpay on the next contract. Olave has a massive overpay for the 5th year option next year; and will be due for a new contract in 2027.

FYI, I think he’s worth the 5th year option money, just not worth it to a team that is going through a multi-year rebuild and in need of clearing cap

A 2035 7th rder is better than having to pay Olave what he'll want on his next contract.

Because there’s no point in paying a 30 year old Kamara to be on this dog shite team. This is a 2-3 year rebuild, he’ll be retired by the time we’re relevant again.

Olave is young but I sure as hell don’t want to be the team paying his next contract.

Those are probably our only 2 tradable guys that other teams would want.

Get something for them now.

Go back to playing Madden.

We are in a rebuild and things don’t work that way in the NFL.

Thats funny. All our contracts are so fricked up with dead money. It will be after next year when we are truly flush with cap space.

Olave would be extremely attractive to teams and trading him does not hurt us. We did the same thing with Cooks in the midst of the 7-9 stretch. Three seasons and he was gone. Only difference is we already picked up Olave’s 5th year and the Patriots had the liberty of picking up Cooks’

If Loomis just drafted better since 2021, didnt trade up for the stupid Olave/Penning trade and not signed Carr or any free agents so we coukd get out of cap hell, we wouldn’t be rebuilding right now
