I'm hearing Pop Houston thinking about reclassifying to thr 26 class. And he'll be an early enrollee

That would be perfect. Developmentally, I think he's the most starter ready of the 3.

I am in general not a fan of reclassifying
he physically needs to
mature more, and the longer he can do that before he sets foot on campus and starts that 5 years clock the better.
I’m excited about him, but he isn’t like Leanord fournette who showed up physically looking NFL ready

Not to be a stick in the mud, but this is not always a great idea.
I have no opinion on whether Houston is ready after this year, but Colin Hurley's reclassification made no sense. He was clearly too young. Sometimes better to be patient.
How old is Houston?

Was really hoping one of the 2 or 3 top QB LSU is after Peyton/Haven/Nuss would reclassify to 26 so now the other 2 can get full court press for 27 class

I usually agree but if you watch the kid he has some nice size alredy and is as polished as a passer as you can be at that age

i’m looking at Sophmore highlights so idk what he looks like this year
I would say kids ready to play D1 football as Jr in hs are the exception and not the rule.
There is almost no one NFL peak level in college even.
Most people are fully physically
mature till their kid 20s.

The question is whether he's ready to join the team and take a redshirt in preparation for '27. I don't think anyone with any sense is looking for a 17 year to get serious reps at QB.

He's the most college ready of the three, I think he could be really good in 2027 if he had a year in a college weight program
Hurley was too young even for his class, but was also super raw

HUDL
I can't remember a more impressive Soph highlight film.
Really nice the way they break it down into sections:
Tight window
Off schedule
Runs
One section dropping the ball in holes (long touch passes)

Houston turned 17 yesterday. So he would be 18 by the end of 2026 football season. But still not a fan of this idea. Just doesn't typically work out for qbs.

If you want 2/3 of Nuss, Haven, and Houston, this is the only way.

Sounds like a bad idea - but we just played a LB last week against Florida who should be playing HS ball on Friday nights, so what do I know?

I had a feeling that was coming l.

On one of those highlights, the “e” logo appeared upside down.
Is that “Uh”vangel?

So he's only 18 months younger than Colin Hurley and Hurley was 2024 class
