Unlike any other event that's occured, I just cant be silent to the ignorance. I've jumped all over a couple of liberal family members that have felt the need to qualify that "Charlie Kirk wasnt a good guy" and then want to battle me on his idealogy of which they dont even know.

I feel like I'm going crazy, the man was murdered for words. What the fk are we doing here, is this AMERICA? Something is different inside of me this time. I've never been so ready to blow it up and disconnect with that crazy liberal family member as I am right now, not even close.

I have kids, I'll die myself before I let them grow up in a world where they think it's ok to kill someone for preaching their beliefs, no matter what they are.

Yeah, it's really hard to comprehend that political disagreement has become justification for murder. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills too.

Same here. Most of mine are fairly politically agnostic or uninformed. I'm grateful this is something I don't have to deal with.

I have purged every single democrat from my life and thankfully none of my family are liberal. I spit on the left.

Yes.

Not a big one... once they started with the "I didn't agree with him, but.." crap, I got off the phone.

I am 99% certain she never actually saw anything CK ever did or said- just relied on social media to paint his picture.

My liberal family members were just as upset as I was.

You can’t reason with people who choose violence over conversation. They murdered Charlie because he chose conversation so you’re just wasting your time.

liberal family members

I don't have any of those. Maybe some distant, distant cousins, but my family is based on all sides and in all directions.

My aunt has been blowing people up on FB. One of them used to be friends with my daughter and got a little mouthy. She don't know how my aunt's from that side roll. They are country. Like grew up without in door plumbing country. One of them worked for Maybelline from age 18 until retiring at 65, never missed a day. Not even after fighting a cop or any other other nights she spent in jail or a hospital. They're tough. Ole girl done lost her job after she got them riled up. She's probably gonna catch as arse whooping in the next few days to add insult to injury.

Fine. I will go with that argument. What law says you should be summarily executed for “not being a good guy?” Cite it for me.

These are the people who constantly promote the need for due process. What due process did Charlie Kirk get?

Good grief

And as a reminder, every time you hear labeling from the Left (e.g. “conservative activist”) it is their code phrase for saying “They deserved it.”

The best part is that liberals think they are good people. Bad people laugh and make fun of people who were just murdered. And 95% of them don't even know who Charlie Kirk was. They saw that he was shot, saw people online who said that he was a bad guy to justify the murder in their own retarded minds, and they repeat it without actually even knowing anything about him.

Kirk was pretty damn mild-mannered and lighthearted and basically just talked to people even when they said awful stuff to him in person.

Nope, I had to cut out my family many years ago. Best thing I ever did. They are all ignorant liberals. No aspirations and only complain about how the govt should be helping them.

I took out a lot of proverbial trash in my life the past few days, both mentally and on social media. People I’ve silently “put up with” will no longer occupy the same space in my life — online or otherwise.

This event changed me. I’m out of fricks to be given.

Charlie Kirk's views were no different than anyones' grandfathers were 40+ years ago. He wasn't a radical. They are the radicals.

Friend of about a dozen years. We’ve always disagreed politically on many issues, but it has been cordial. Agree to disagree.

This time it was different. His first comment was about Trump, and Kirk’s hate speech, and the usual BS. He was back at it today. As soon as the arrest was announced, he fell hook, line, and sinker for liberal media and said this kid came from a MAGA family, and he donated to the party, and he has a picture at Halloween with a Trump costume.

It didn’t matter that those were all debunked relatively quickly. We are both usually good about waiting until facts come out. I told him I was surprised that he was victim blaming, and he said he was surprised I supported a racist, white Nationalist, and nazi.

It’s stunning. I can forgive him, but I don’t think I can ever forget.

No, I of course like many people do have libs in my family. None of them are taking this as a laughing matter and are very concerned.

When someone takes themselves too seriously and then falls on their face, sure you can laugh at them but when they got shot or hit by a bus, if you're a decent human being, you can't help but be moved and all the bs should go out the door at that point for the time being.

Imagine if AOC was talking somewhere and saying a lot of stuff you disagreed with and she got shot all of a sudden, I bet you people here would forget about the political discourse for the moment and be concerned for her as a human being.

Totally get that though. It is a character issue. We would be wrong to forget about it as though it never happened.
