As a parent would you be upset if your kid went trick or treating to a house and got a bag of candy and a pocket constitution?

Are the bags of candy Almond Joy? Then I’d be pissed.

I’d argue more folks need to read the Constitution, so no.

Now if it was one of those weird religious flyers with a toothpaste tube, you should probably get your house egged.

The overlap between those parents who would be upset and those parents who make a scene about food allergies and candy options would be close to 100%

Preaching political ideology to kids is weird. No 6 year old needs to be handed anything political, especially on Halloween. Stick to candy. If you want to be the cool house, full candy bars from Sam’s or Costco

Upset? No. People give all kinds of trash out for Halloween.

They teach it in school at the age of the kids trick or treating. It’s not political ideology it’s the Constitution. May inspire a few kids and maybe a parent to have conversations.

It's crazy that only one side believes in the constitution and the other side thinks it's "political ideology."

I think you’re better off giving kids the good book. That’s what people need to understand more than anything.

If I was a kid and got a constitution

I’d put you right up there with those frickers that hand out toothbrushes and apples.

Assuming the kids that get bussed into your neighborhood can read is probably racist

There is not enough data in the OP to formulate a response. How are we supposed to know how we would feel if you do not answer the important part of the question? What type of candy?

Who would be upset with that line up?

I was afraid you were going to say a handful of candy corn, the orange and black chewy things, the gum that loses flavor after 2 bites...
