Cell phones throughout the years

I tried to go back and remember every phone I've had throughout the years. I used AI to help me fill in the blanks by listing popular phones in those periods. It was interesting to see screen sizes go down, then consistently up. Sony completely dropped off the map. Windows phone's brief appearance. Bezels disappear and the current iterations of phones being less exciting.

(I liked windows phone, it'd be nice to have 3 options right now)

(first fingerprint reader for me, i think)

Nexus 6P; October 19, 2015; 5.7-inch AMOLED display
(biggest tech leap)

Google Pixel XL; October 4, 2016; 5.5-inch AMOLED display
(meh, had big hopes)

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2; September 2017; 5.99-inch IPS LCD display
(bezels disappear. biggest leap in build quality for me - ceramic body)

(all phones start being the same, manufactures leave the space)
