Who did you see and when?
My first show was Grand Funk LC Civic Center, 1973 I think. Couldn’t hear for days.

Difficult to remember since once I and my friends were able to drive wed drive to Houston to see bands and they all kind of run together. But it's one of these bands: Charlie Daniels Band at Astroworld, Bob Seeger and Eddie Money at the Houston Summit or 38 Special or Hank Jr at the Summit. Now my brothers first concert was Elvis in Lake Charles which is a pretty cool first concert.

Garbage and Lit - MTV Campus Invasion Tour 1999 @ Murray State. Shirley Manson looked good and they played all the hits. Lit basically had their one album.
If we’re talking actual madness with mosh pits and crowd surfing, then Rage Against the Machine - Battle of Los Angeles Tour in Nashville 12/8/99. Opening acts were Anti-Flag and Gang Starr.

America in June of ‘79 at the Centroplex. Followed that up with the Doobie Brothers in October that year.
The first of the many rock/metal shows I’ve seen was April Wine at the Centroplex in June of ‘81, followed by BOC/Foghat in October.

James Gang, right after Joe Walsh left, Monroe Civic Center, summer 1972.
A couple of weeks later saw ZZ Top there as they were just starting to "happen". Gibbons was an absolute beast in those days.
