They still will not fill it up. No one wants to sit up in the nose bleed section. New premium seating will take away the good seats for the common folk…

I have no problem reducing the number if they build legit space for clubs and premium seating. I wouldn’t be surprised if LSU got rid of some levels to the sidelines to just put up 4 top tables and things from Academy.

Renovate at least 80 % of the East Upper to match the South Upper. All premium club level, suites and large open plaza. LSU makes more money, the section isnt a sauna thru October, and for the early September rent-a-wins, parents with young kids can snap up the tickets knowing the kids have a large area to run around.

We did this in the south upper for South Alabama last year with three boys under 7 and they had an absolute blast and stayed the entire game. The open buffet is shockingly good by LSU standards.

they need to do something

Can you show us what Premium seating looks like? Do you mean like a booth/club type situation?

where would those be placed?

I think LSU needs to add premium hotels near the stadium to help the fan experience...consider travel, and tailgating, it can be exhausting. Waiting in line for food or water, it's not fun if you're in the middle of Louisiana humidity

offer some kind of rest and fun for the fans after the game...Try tailgaiting all day, standing on your feet, then experience an intense game... you're spent...so people tap out in the 3rd qtr to beat the madness...

Walk to the hotel, shower, grab something to eat, you get a 2nd wind for a bit...but that isn't available at LSU near the stadium...

I think the North, east and west seating all needs to be reconfigured, updated and rebuilt to look more symmetrical. There is absolutely too much dead space in the back of house, underneath and the walkways are horrendous.
Id like to see the NEZ reimagined a little bit. The current locker room is pretty tight quarters. It could be moved to the old weight room on the northeast side. Then you could build a field level stadium club in current spot of locker room and maybe have field level suites.

Nose bleeds are the best seats IMO. Can see the entire field, with decent eyesight isn't to hard to see numbers on jerseys, food/drinks aren't a terrible wait for most games, and the walk down post-game allows quite a bit of traffic to subside. I even get to respectfully shite talk opposing fans, which is fun for those big SEC games. Got to get my laugh in at Ole Miss fans last year, and then still made it down to the field.

The only thing that sucks about the top is the heat for day games, especially the East Side. Man, you sizzle like bacon.

LSU athletics doesn’t have a master plan for its facilities.

I personally wish they would move track to Gourrier, old golf course. They could build a brand new indoor/outdoor stadium that could host major events for the region and generate some revenue.

Then on the site of T&F, you build a brand new arena on Nicholson and N Stadium. This would be on the existing footprint of all teams that have a practice facility near. If built right, you could host concerts and various events that bring in money. On the site of the old field house, build a parking garage.

On the site of the old PMAC, you build the new athletics offices, secondary rec center, auxiliary space for student athletes.

On site of athletics offices, build a hotel that can accommodate fans and other teams for non football events.

There were some leaked renderings, I believe they were from 2023, and I think it was just a concept idea. Who knows what they've got in mind. But just to give you an idea

North end zone , they've obviously ripped out a chunk of bleachers and put in a bar and plaza area underneath thr scoreboard

Not sure where we are here. Under an upper deck it looks like. Don't mind the section numbers on the sign, they're not true to the seating chart.

I get what you are saying, but that’s not going to happen because there are only 8 or so home games per year. Hotels need to be booked every night of the week. There are already 2 hotels within walking distance of Tiger Stadium.

Awesome. Fewer seats, and more premium seating. Prices will go up, more of the fans are of the social media influencer types. This seems like a loss for the true fans.

You don't think those seats will be full for the Florida game next week?

Spending money to remove seats is as stupid as spending money to remove roads.

It’s been a few years since I’ve been home and plan to come home next year for Clemson game. What are the two walking distance hotels?

Not if your price per seat goes up because you tear down the east upper and replace it with all club level.

I would take just above average restrooms at this point versus those Turkish prison ones we have now.

The common folk can sit in the nosebleeds.

Why should common folk demand good seats?

The cost of rooms on game weekends is ridiculous. What are the 2 within walking distance?

I hope this isn't true. This is going to take away from the college gameday experience.

Who cares about premium seating. If you want a premium seat in the AC, stay home and watch it on your couch. It's football in southern Louisiana!
