Heard this from a Bama fan today, talking about Kalen DeBoer:

“I don’t know fractions, but I know a whole dumbass when I see one.”

DeBoer literally needs a bodyguard.

Surely if the two Einsteins in Orgeron and Miles can win a NC at LSU, the last in everything and poorest state in the nation. Karen can win one in Alabama.

Or were they not so bad after all. I would love to have O on the sidelines and in high school athletes homes. He’s a fighter. Miles was pretty goofy but solid in recruiting. Deboer might have 2 years left.

Poor guy never realized that he was never going to be anything but a designated scapegoat.

Or maybe he did and just happily jumped on the payday regardless.

If they take a step back, they would see It took a Nick Saban to make them ANYTHING, they really weren't anything before he got there, and probably will slip back into oblivion quickly once teams start to cherry pick apart their roster.

See, unlike any other top 5-35 team with a good coach, they can throw money at their roster and upgrade to a quality team with a good coach and be something.

Bama already HAS probably the best athletes on the field, they can't upgrade by buying better guys, and the coach is too expensive to fire.

DeBoer was a poor hire.

I dislike Bama as much as any LSU fan, but this is factually just not true.

Even before Saban, they were one of the most successful programs in CFB history.

Their rough spot between Stallings and Saban was better than LSUs rough spot between Arnsparger and DiNardo/Saban

One thing for sure is he's not poor! Alabama paid a 12 million buyout to get their guy! They fricked up big-time!

I am VERY curious to see if they retain those four 5* recruits. I just can’t see why they’d go there after this…

I feel bad for the shite his family will have to hear. If Auburn boosters will push an agenda to say their coach slept with a staffer, no telling what Bama would do.

Maybe. Name the coaches who you think definitely would be in a different predicament had they been hire instead?

I don’t think it’ll be that bad. Kristin Saban told everyone to be nice. I think so many of us look to her for wisdom

They've had two significant periods in the last 50 years with multiple championships, this might be one of the worst takes I've seen on this board.

He may be the most overrated coach in college football.

Plus, there is no way they were financially poaching him from Texas regardless.
