No, but we won so we can move on

I believe there was a Clemson receiver just offscreen near Cooley at the bottom. They determined that WR was close enough to be in the direction of the pass

international grounding?
What kind of grounding is that? UN issue?

Refs in 2025 have no idea what intentional grounding is
Rarely ever called to protect offenses
Refs forget about the crossing the line of scrimmage part of the rule. Wouldn't be surprised if this shitty crew thought he was outside the tackles but forgot the ball still has to cross the LOS.

All the out of work East German Olympic judges got work as SEC referees.

There was one late that jimari butler almost had a pick 6 on that was just as bad.
They let klubnik get away with a lot

the tackle affects the trajectory of the throw
There was a WR close enough, with that in mind.

I am quite sure I am fairly biased, however it seems like they let Klubnik get away with grounding more than once and all questionable 50-50 calls seemed to all go Clemson’s way.

I thought about just leaving it and not editing.

SEC refs weren’t ready for LSU to be good again

He was already wrapped up when he started the throw.
Don’t know how you can take into account projected trajectory with no tackler when the throw is started in the midst of a tackle

This was one I was mad about in the moment but after watching SkyCam became ok with.

correct, there were 2 plays that should have been called intentional (or international) grounding
and no, you cannot make a judgement call on where you think he was trying to throw it
anyhow, that was my take at game speed
