To be fair fans in the stadium probably don't get a decent replay of the missed call.

They are used to the extreme ref favoritism they got during their 2015-2020 run. They aren’t used to being flagged

In all seriousness I wasn't sure what the rule was so I looked it up and it appears in college the receiver has to survive the ground. If so, the call was correct. Either way, the incessant booing of the obvious PI/holding call was ridiculous.
