I was just randomly watching this video of anvils being smashed in a hydraulic press

And the absolute dog shite quality of the Indian metal floored me. Drove a standard nail right into it.
It squished like this gummy bear

And I was thinking, aside from spice (I do enjoy Indian food) I can't think of a single Indian made product that's worth at damn, Saar.

Has it always been this way? And why? Has India replaced China as the country with the shittiest quality?

Do they just have zero fricks to give about quality control, saar? (Their street food videos say they don't.) Or do they actively try to scam people with their sub par products?

Soap certainly isn't on the list.

Now the Sikhs and the Ghurkas were pretty cool, and I think I recall some parts making decent blades (or was that Pakistan) but anything I've gotten in the last decade has been poorly crafted.

India is not sending its best, and its polluting the world at an alarming rate. Is there anything Indian worth buying? Besides the street shitter 350?

They do have some gorgeous women though.

I'm not talking about the people, more so the products. Everything Indian I've had has fallen apart

am I surprised at the poor quality of products from a country where ~50 people die from train related accidents every day and public defecation is the norm?

No. Not at all.

Isn't the politically correct phrase "dot not feather"?

I love hydraulic press videos. My son and I just stare transfixed. Something about watching things get smashed really appeals to men.

Aren't these teeny tiny anvils just a novelty item? I mean there is no legitimate use i can think of for an anvil the size of a claw hammer
