I'm not a medical expert, but I believe a neck contusion can rough you up short term, but isn't necessarily a long term issue.

Most likely done out of an abundance of caution. Hoping for the best but Jose is tough he will bounce right back.

Jalen McMillan (WR for the Bucs) had a similar injury and might be out over 10 weeks. Hopefully Jose’s isn’t as severe. Neck injuries can be very tricky, very painful.

Yeah I think that's an injury that's really dangerous in an acute sense (don't want another impact on that area), but long-term isn't a big deal (assuming you take precautions like they did).
