I went in with an open mind but the writing in this was brutal.

Coming into it from just watching Andor was eye opening .

Thrawn was probably the only redeeming quality of this thing.

What did the board think?

Worst of all the non-animated shows. At least obi-wan kenobi had the vader fight episode and some other good stuff.

The Acolyte was superior to Ahsoka.

Could've been better but definitely not as bad as you're making it out to be. The end of the first season also set up all the characters in an interesting spot for season two.

The Anakin episode was fantastic.

The Acolyte was pointless and Obi Wan was straight stupid that spit in the face of the established lore.

I went in with high hopes for Ahsoka, but struggled to finish the season. I thought it was more boring than anything else. I'll probably check out S2 when it releases, but I don't have any need to watch it.

How they fricked up an Obi-Wan series with Ewan McGregor is unbelievable. Some of the Vader stuff was cool towards the end - force pulling a spaceship - but damn that was a mess of a show.

I think people that watched Rebels are more forgiving of its faults since it’s really a live-action continuation of that show. It had some great aspects like Ray Stevenson (RIP Sweet Prince), exploring the Mortis gods, Tennant as Huyang, and the world between worlds with Anakin. They nailed the casting for everybody, especially Ezra and Sabine.

They need to work on the fight choreography. Everything other than the duel with Anakin was trash.

Even with its faults, I’m looking forward to the next season because I’ve always found the lore around the Mortis gods interesting and I’m excited to see more of live-action Ezra. I’m hopeful Rory McCann (The Hound from GoT) will do a good job replacing Ray.

I thought Ahsoka was great, but I also watched Clone Wars and Rebels and liked them, even though they are cartoons and i'm not a kid.

Ahsoka, Ezra, Thrawn, Anakin, World between Worlds....All things i cared about and wanted to see what happened after Rebels, which is what this show basically was.
I enjoyed it very much, and cant wait for season 2. Supposed to explore more with the Mortis gods, which I am very much looking forward to, as well as more force ghosts Anakin.

Ahsoka is easily right behind Mandalorian and Andor for me. It's more about the story for me, and the characters that I already have an extensive background knowledge of and want to see the rest of their story told.

I just wish they'd stop giving these actors the direction of "play this as boring and bored as you possibly can" when it's a Jedi character. Ahsoka from the animated series is a tik tok influencer compared to what Dawson is doing with her.

The quality of acting, writing, directing, set building, and CGI was terrible. Other than that it was a great show.

Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll was the only redeeming performance.

Well, she's been through a lot of shite. She's not the happy go lucky eager beaver she was in Clone Wars. She was betrayed by the jedi council, discovered here best friend and master was Darth Vader, who tried to kill her multiple times, and she lost Ezra.

She's just beaten down, which is why she appears "boring and bored"

Plus she's a full-on grizzled adult now in her 50's-60's (?) as opposed to being a smartass teen.

I liked it ok. It was better than the abomination that was Obi-Wan or the lesbian communist propaganda that was The Acolyte.

That’s a pretty low bar though.

It had a cool, gloomy vibe. And I like the early post ROTJ era. I think there’s a lot Star Wars COULD have explored there if there wasn’t the ever-looming sequel trilogy to have to work towards.

Thrawn is the 3rd best villain in Star Wars.
Zombie stormtroopers are rad.
Baylon Skoll was an intriguing idea. The maybe not evil, but definitely turned away from the light Jedi. And they couldn’t have replaced Ray Stevenson with a better option.
Rosario Dawson turned into a hot mom.

The elements are there individually. It just never really got exciting. Just kind of a series of things that happened.

But if they turn it into a plot about cloning Palpatine, I might actually quit Star Wars.
