Not unless it was a targeting foul I’m pretty sure
ETA: shite if it was for fighting though the rule may be the same as targeting

Feel like we would've heard this by now if he was sitting but we'll see

I find it hard to believe "David Hood" is the first person to address this. Say what you will about Mascona, but this is the type of thing he would have a pulse on.

This has to be BS or Kelly would have mentioned it during the pc.

That wasn’t a bowl game, it was the last game of the season.
Also, I’m pretty sure we would’ve gotten clarification on this since CBK said everyone was available for this first game.

During yesterday’s press conference a hot mic caught this possibility being discussed behind the scenes. Nothing definitive was said.

I don't think unsportsmanlike ejections carry to the next game.

Maybe. I’d be surprised if Moscona had any clue that Haulcy was ejected in the 4th quarter of Houston’s bowl game.

This may be accurate.

quote:
Yes, a fighting suspension carries over to the following season if the infraction occurs in the final game. The player must serve the suspension during the next game in which they are eligible to compete, which would be the first game of the following season if the team has no postseason play. This rule also applies to other unsportsmanlike conduct penalties, including certain targeting fouls.
Fighting Suspension Rules
1. Forfeit of participation: Players ejected for fighting are ineligible for the remainder of the current game.
2. Carryover to the next game: If the fighting ejection happens in the second half of a game, the player must also sit out the first half of their team's next scheduled game.
3. Carryover across seasons: If the ejection occurs in the last game of a season, the suspension for the next game's first half will carry over to the first game of the following season, assuming the player is still eligible.
Example of carryover suspension
The News & Observer reported in 2025 that two NC State football players who were ejected for fighting in the second half of the 2024 Military Bowl had to sit out the first half of the season opener in 2025. This confirms the carryover of fighting penalties to the next season.

This guy made a HUGE post on tigernet that got deleted today saying someone made a claim their QB was involved in a vehicle wreck. His parents found out bc someone contacted them about it bc it was posted on the website. They couldn’t get in-touch with him. The claim is false. He said we were starting shite. Called out the person essentially wanting to fight them.

Houston did not make a bowl game last year. This was their last game of the regular season.
