My backup plan is to keep YouTube tv and do the Fox One app, which offers a free trial. YouTube TV will also send a nominal credit for the fox fiasco.

I’ve ventured over to the tech board and looked at the IPTV thread and still don’t understand it.

But I was thinking of dropping YouTube TV anyway and doing the ESPN and Fox streaming apps. Combined is $50. Cheaper than YouTube tv. Use an antenna for CBS and NBC. Get HBO Max for the baseball playoffs. And then cancel. That’s my plan right now.

just pause YouTube TV and get another service...pretty sure they are easy to pause.

I use Fubo here in Houston because it gets the Astros games and YouTubeTV doesn't.

Antenna and stream. This isn’t hard and it still boggles my mind that people are so tethered to these services lol

it would be nice if they just combined everything in one package

when sports aren't on they play die hard, some cooking shows and bar rescue

Aren’t some baseball games on tbs and tnt? Fubo doesn’t carry those channels or espn news.

I've used FUBO the past 2 football seasons, the first 2 weeks were free. After football season, I paused the service for 6-7 months. Next football season when I restarted I realize that it kept recording all my shows even while the service was suspended. A whole season of Yellowstone I hadn't seen and my wife loved it since she missed her favorite shows when we went out of town for Mardi Gras. One draw back was having to delete all those LSU basketball games it recorded.

How much should they cost?

I've seen it for as little as $55 and some over $250.

Some folks in rural areas aren't close enough to towers to pick up the channels with an antenna.

When is the drop expected to happen? Is it tomorrow or Friday? I just got the email from YouTube TV. I like the service but their customer service and billing systems are so sketchy at times.
