Manhandle Clemson's DL. Open lanes for our RB's and give Nuss time to hit those crossing routes.

Time to get back to smash mouth football in the trenches.

We will miss Will Campbell and Emory. I’m hoping replacing Chester with Moore will make a big difference up the middle. If we can be solid there it will help some. The center position was terrible last year. That has a horrible effect on an offense line.

I want to see the D make Clemson look silly. It somewhat aggravates me how national media have totally forgot Perkins is still playing. I would love for him to dominate.

I also really want our dline to show up Clemsons dline.

Moore experience playing against Clemson in “ that stadium “ will help us tremendously this game . He already gone up against the dline and crowd

Would love it.

Would be even better to see a nasty defensive line Saturday too.

It’s been 2.5 years since he gave anyone outside our fan base a reason to remember he is on the team.

And Ole Miss still remembers.

I hope you're right about the OL.

Hopefully Moore will elevate the entire line and getting Iwasntgoodenoughforuga Chester out of the linbeup will help.

Curne needs to be in there, but I don't think he knows his Reads and Assignments well enough yet.

We'll see...........

Deee Jayyy Chester, All DJ does is win, win, win no matter what. Everytime DJ steps up in the building, everyone's hands go up! and they stay there, and they stay there, and they stay there, up, down, up down, Cause all DJ does is win, win, win

I just want some semblance of toughness. That's been severely underwhelming under Kelly so far.

Les Miles era of college football was awesome. Big Cat drill and him holding the players back before running out always got me pumped!

And I want to see Sidney Sweeney's nips in my face. Probably not gonna happen.

Give Nuss time to get the ball out, and it will open up running lanes. That would be good enough for me. Not guaranteed, but possible.

Just like it's possible but not guaranteed my wife's nips may be in face after an opening "W"

There have been flashes of it, but never consistent and mostly confined to certain players. This year, we finally have the roster to play that way, especially on defense.

As for the OL, I’ll take “nasty” or playing with an edge and some mistakes over playing passive or thinking too hard about what you’re doing and playing a step slow. That mindset taking hold early would help this group, especially in the run game.

Im prepared to be completely disappointed and underwhelmed by the OL and run game. Like last season’s short yardage failure in the opener. If it’s 4th and inches please put Nuss under center or bring Johnson in. Play fricking physical.

It’s going to take some help early in the season. If you go back to 2019, we weren’t getting good push up front and the running game was very inconsistent the first 1/4 of the season, especially vs Texas. It took the passing game repeatedly making teams pay to back them off, but once the box got a little looser, the run game started working and CEH took off.

Even some of the best college OLs any given year will still struggle occasionally vs constantly loaded boxes. They are outmanned in that scenario and LBs and Safeties are faster getting to the spot than they are. The key for this OL is getting the speed WRs loose and forcing defenses to back up and spread out. We couldn’t do that for most of last season, but we now have multiple WRs who can burn anyone deep, not just one in Hilton.

We just need to execute there and hit some chunk plays and we can at least have an average rushing attack again.
