Why is the Trump Administration allowing Chinese students into the country?

Some “students” are basically ghosts—Phantom University majors who don’t exist in class but sure know how to exist in the financial aid system. They sign up for courses, never show a face, and somehow collect Pell Grants like it’s candy. Picture this: Johnny No-Show registers for four classes, never logs in, never does homework, but magically walks away with $6,000 in federal cash. Meanwhile, the department of education keeps sending checks, clueless.
It’s taxpayer money vanishing into the void while real students bust their tails trying to earn it. Some schools have been hit with dozens of these “ghosts,” racking up tens of thousands before anyone notices. The kicker? It’s often not even hard to pull off—just weak oversight, a fake email, and bam, your tuition-free ghost ride is in motion.
Wasn’t doge supposed to get rid of these fake scammers pretending to be students?

Seems clear to me its a concession he made to them in trade negotiations.

Because of the iron clad structure of Biden’s hidden signature ( autopen) deals no doubt

He does these these things when he personally benefits. Follow the trail.

"We want people coming to this country in greater numbers than ever before, but we want them to do it "LEGALLY"

If it’s not in writing, he’s fishing for the response from his opposition to hang the with.

I don't think that 99% of foreign students qualify for federal student aid, so there must be another angle.

I guess his AIPAC handler told him to?

Someone has concluded that we can't beat the Chinese without our own Chinese. Same as in WWII with the Germans.

trump doesn’t do things like this out of the kindness of his heart or to benefit anyone but himself. I know you ignore that or refuse to see it but that’s the way it is. If he does this it’s for a reason that involves his personal gain, that’s the art of his deal.

How does he benefit from this? You didn’t answer his question?
Ever wonder who the “big guy” was? I doubt it.

Just about any aid for foreign students comes from grants and is college specific. Chinese students are primarily paying the full boat and are keeping some universities in the Northeast open.
