I can’t explain it exactly. But living the “Soft Rock” life is the key to happiness.

Throw on some Christopher Cross or the like and take 5 breaths man. A lot of the stress we feel is in our own heads.

Almost any music helps me relax. What helps me more is playing along on my sax.

Soft rock makes me want to commit unspeakable acts of violence before offing myself. It's often just so emotionally muted, dull, and lifeless. I prefer music that is more assertive and commands my attention. Might as well listen to all of that gay hipster clap, stomp, hey music. Not a big fan of yacht rock either.

The perfect song for this exact thread, this exact feeling, this exact time of the year, this exact weather
ETA - and possibly one of the best songs ever created. It should be noted I'm 38 and grew up listening to punk, hardcore, alt rock, stuff much heavier. But this song always elicits a specific emotion, especially during the closing days of summer

I try to listen to a bluesy, Govt’ Mule-ish Southern Rock playlist for 8hrs during my work day. Kinda evens my highs & lows to a pretty mellow work environment…

A boomer handyman was repairing my deck today and he had a boombox cranking soft rock all day.
I keep forgettin' we're not in love in anymore....

1,000% agree. Henley is a brilliant artist. “The End Of Innocence” is an all time classic.

Was a fan of the remix by the Ataris when it dropped as well.
