Question about marijuana

Can police literally arrest you if you have an amount that’s under 2g? Was watching one of those warden shows and the cops kept emphasizing how lucky the guys were for them not being arrested. “I am cutting you a big break”. I thought they can only write you a ticket if it’s under a certain amount

Nowadays they arrest you and test it for fentanyl and charge you that way. It’s all laced with fentanyl that’s why so many people overdose

I know all that, but I always thought if they found some under a set weight it was just a ticket vs arrest.

Each state is gonna be a little different. I think here in NC, you can get by with a few grams of weed okay.. but I think having the drug paraphernalia in your possession is a felony. Weed not that bad, weed pipe very bad.

Depends on the jurisdiction, but you’ll get grounded regardless if your mom finds your devil’s lettuce

Depends on the state and municipality.
In Atlanta, it would be a ticket, since it is decriminalized. In most of GA, you're going to jail.

If a cop talked to me like that I would probably tell him to get fricked and that he has a mouth on him for a public servant that’s job requires merely a high school diploma, no record, and a drivers license.
After that I’d tell him I’d like to talk to my attorney and I don’t need him to read me my rights, I know them. I’d then offer my wrists for the bracelets.

Cops can and will arrest you for what ever the frick they feel like if you get in their crosshairs. They DGAF if it ends up being a bad arrest b/c 99/100 times they will be completely protected from any real punishment.

Talked to a very nice police officer in Houston at a 7/11 over some coffee and a white monster. He said 98% of the guys won’t mess with it this day and age. They don’t even want to write tickets. No one wants to lose their life over the good green. It’s not worth it for anyone. Literally hurts more than it helps when these type of folks are arrested. Waste of public funds.
Heavy focus on fent etc. where the money means lives literally.

It's legal here, and this is a ski town, so they are more permissive than most LEO. As long as you don't stumble to your car in their sight or frick up somebody's property, you can do just about anything. People rail lines in their periphery and they don't give a shite.
