The US Government spends $5 on Boomers for every $1 it spends on children/youth

It’s a numbers game. Their demographic represents a massive portion of the population—all of whom are old, most of which are fat.

Would you rather we euthanize them and spend 100X on the ensuing litigation and social reckoning?

My wife does this. Suggest something like spending 5x on seniors compared to children is crazy, she comes back with something extreme like "well I guess we should just kill them all huh?"

Like I tell her, obviously there is an ocean between those two extremes.
