What's a company or product that really turned itself around by "rebranding"?

All the Cracker Barrel talk had me thinking. What's the best example, if any, of a company that had grown sort of tired and stale that decided to really revamp itself away from whatever it stared as, and really turned its fortunes around by doing so?

InBev rebottled Bud Light as Modelo. (ETA: not literally)
Both basically owned by AB Inbev (Anheuser-Busch AB InBev)

I found it funny when guys would belly up to the bar and say "F*ck Bud Light, give me a (insert Busch, Corona, Landshark, Rolling Rock, Michelob) instead"

They're all owned by the same company!

Clever wording, but still the same company

quote:

No, Modelo and Budweiser are not directly owned by the same company in the U.S. While Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) globally owns both brands, the U.S. rights to the Modelo brand are owned by Constellation Brands. AB InBev, the parent company of Bud Light, had to divest the U.S. rights to Modelo due to a federal settlement agreement

Kia seems to be doing pretty well after changing their logo. May not be related at all though.

Prostitutes. There used be some shame associated with being one. Now everyone is proud to be one. You have billboards in New Orleans advertising onlyfans. Whoever is doing the PR on prostitutes is earning their money.

Transformed from making drab thermoses for soldiers, miners, construction workers, and other blue collar men, to the official pastel hydrator of basic bitches.

Maybe not an actual logo rebrand, but Chili's and Applebee's. They used to be the butt of jokes but you can get a damn good meal there now when it feels like everyone else has upped the prices and shrunk the portions.

Best I can think of is Stanley. They exploded after changing focus from rugged thermos to trendy white girl mugs.

I'm not sure it's rebranding as much as reinventing (and with many detractors) but Carhartt might be one.

I was just thinking that Under Armor probably really needs an overhaul.

Huh? Modelo has been around a long time. Are you saying they poured out all the Modelo beers and filled them with BL after that whole issue? If so, what is in the Modelo bottles now, because whatever it is it doesn't taste the same as BL, which is still being sold.

Seriously, Dunkin Donuts went through a rebranding effort and I think it paid off. Also, didn't Old Spice do the same?

Old Spice.

from “grandpa’s cologne” to meme-worthy, viral masculinity marketing campaign.

Them and Stanley seem like a good case study in how a company actually expand a stale market.
