Seems to be. Unless they are doing a second event.

Damn
I didn't have any of my AmEx info yesterday to see if I could access the presale

Welp, guess I'll have to go to NYC eventually (like I've been trying to for over 10 years) to the real thing

It’s more expensive than an actual Le Bernardin dinner. Hard Pass.

Are you hosting him at the Pickwick Club for happy hour?

You and me both. Pretty sure Ripert was the first person to find Anthony Bourdain after his suicide. He was often on No Reservations. Several days ago I watched the NR Chicago episode where they dined at L20.

I think you are right that ripert was the one who found him dead…they were filming an episode in France together. I can’t imagine

the handful of episodes with those two together were all hilarious

It’s a special event with all 3 chef’s in attendance right? Seems like it would certainly be more. These special events often have the chef’s throwing in extras at no cost to honor the occasion. I doubt they will nickel and dime here, at least not as much as on a regular Tuesday night.

$550 pre tax, pre gratuity, wine pairing additional $275.

As someone who enjoys fine dining, and has eaten at Le Bernardin, that price tag is offensive. Eric has 3 stars and his tasting course is 375. I don't enjoy how much little E is being forced on us.

I have to think it a bit demoralizing to guys in the industry who’ve been busting their arse for years to see this kid being propped up out of the blue as some multiple Michelin Star chef.

I have an in law that is in his early/mid 20s, maybe just 2 years older than EJ, and is already a pretty accomplished guy. He's already been at a 3 Michelin Star place, has been a Sus at two really good places and worked his way up, and is on pace to be a CDC at a restaurant at a group that includes a michelin star restaurant in a very large city, this year.

He worked here for a few years before moving to bigger cities and said he likes EJ and thinks really highly of him. He has said yeah, if his Dad wasn't Emeril, he might not be where I am now yet, but EJ is a good dude and really really talented.
