Actually it might help. Weakens Russia’s revenue stream, so they might be willing to agree a ceasefire.

Kinda shocked this didn’t happen sooner to be honest. Why would anyone at war with another country allow them to profit off a natural resource if they had the ability to stop it?

President Trump told Europe years ago during his first term they should not be buying any oil and gas from Russia.
