With our QB competition being rather close between Rattler and Shough, heard a name thats been floating around Airline as a backup/mentor role. If Browns cut Flacco, dont be surprised id he's brought over for a visit.
Not saying I want this, just saying a rumor with a very small amount of validity.

Am I wrong in remembering that Flacco was the presumptive starter unless one of the rookie QBs was so out of this world that they couldn't keep them on the bench? I feel that was common knowledge.
The fact that someone might have even been talking about the Browns cutting Flacco only shows how the Saints are out of touch with reality. The Browns weren't going to cut him even if he was a backup.

This. 3 of the saints coaches are ex-QBs. Saints don't need to bring in a veteran to mentor.
